New Zealand’s leading provider of access hire equipment, Hamilton-based Industry Hire, debut new Kubota U17-3 excavator.

New Zealand’s top provider of access hire equipment, Industry Hire, are excited to announce a new addition to their range of high-quality equipment, the Kubota U17-3 excavator.

Already in high demand, the Kubota U17-3 is the ideal excavator for tackling jobs in when space is a premium. “When the workspace is tight, the U17-3 delivers the manoeuvrability, power, performance and versatility that can get the job done,” says Industry Hire Co-owner, Mike Turney.

Now is a great time to enquire about the Kubota U17-3 excavator with Industry Hire as they have a special on this month, saving you money. Not only that, you can also get a free trailer hire with this special.

Known worldwide for their amazing reliability, the Kubota U17-3 has been upgraded from 13HP to a Kubota 17HP engine. In addition to its premier horsepower and performance this engine also features low noise and vibration levels and excellent fuel efficiency. It also conforms with the EPA’s 2008 Tier IV emissions regulations.

“The increased hydraulic pump capacity to 45 C/min will give you the burst of adaptability you need to take on a large range of jobs,” adds Mike.

The Kubota U17-3 has a zero-tail swing which means you won’t have to worry about what is to the side or behind you while you work. The tail always remains within the width of the tracks. Zero-tail swing also ensures perfect balance, stability and faster operation.

The U17-3 has a breakout force of 1550 kg  with the dedicated bucket and quick coupler. It also has great lifting capacity for digging, lifting, and loading which is provided by a powerful and responsive front working group.

Even when working to the side utilising hydraulic attachments, or lifting hefty items, the U17-3 has excellent stability due to its innovative counter balancing technology, long tumbler distance and low centre of gravity.

Kubota’s Intelligent Control System LCD panel shows accurate and timely diagnostic readings and will alert you to when you need to do routine maintenance. This control system LCD will keep you updated of your current working conditions, engine RPM, temperature and oil levels. It even emits an alert when the tank is nearly full during refuelling. “All these handy features help reduce downtime and repair fees,” advises Mike.
